Yes, it does. 1080P & 720P loop recording is 10 minutes, and when your SD card is full, the newest videos will cover the oldest videos. But when you turn on 4K & 2.7K, the camera can’t do loop recording.

Awesome starter action camera

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I have another Akasa camera (Brave 7), so when I saw this, I had to order it. These are great cameras for much cheaper than the GoPros. The video quality is superb. Audio is better than I was expecting based on the reviews...perfectly adequate IMHO.? Compared to my other camera, this cheaper model requires a little compromise, but it makes up for it in other ways. For example, it does not have an IPX waterproof rating for use without the case, but the waterproof case allows it to go even deeper. It has a mono-mic, which can be hindered when in the waterproof housing. Image stabilization is good, although not top of the line. I like that it includes a ton of attachment options and a good sized case for everything.

Water proof action camera with a lot of features.

This little action camera packs a lot of features. I bought this to take pictures while diving and snorkeling -and other water sports with our granddaughter this summer. I have not yet used it for its intended purpose, but while setting up and checking it out- the picture quality seems great. There are a lot of settings available to preset and customize your videos and photos. You can take photos or video using a wrist remote (not under water though) or your cell phone. It comes with all sorts of mounting hardware for bike and helmet use... This is very competitively priced. I look forward to using it while diving reefs- there is even a color correction setting for underwater lighting!?

A Cost Effective Excellent Action Camera for all activities.

If you want a action camera that has excellent picture quality, excellent 4K video, and touch controls, no app required, take a look at the Akaso Pro 700. I bought this to replace my 11 year old GOPro Hero 4. I love the touch screen, Operation is superb and simple. The fact you don't have to use your phone is a very big plus. The price is perfect, and you will love the results. Also comes with many accessories and can aslo, be remotely controlled. WEll worth taking a look.

Good Camera

A good camera and when the price is factored, perhaps a great camera. The camera is of decent quality, again great quality all things considered. The video I took underwater looks good, nice clarity, good color and easy to use.
The only concern I would raise would be for the instructions. The owners manual falls short on providing adequate details for set up and use. Once you learn the camera, it is fine. I would nevertheless recommend this camera, and I would buy it again.
