Product is everything I wanted for an affordable action camera

Basically a GoPro Hero 8 at Half the Price!

I had a GoPro Hero 10 that I would take with me on diving trips, but I lost it when the waterproof case I was using opened up and the camera sank into the abyss. I decided I wasn't going to take a $300 action camera with me diving anymore, so I started looking for less expensive options. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much at the $100 - $150 price point, but I am very happy with what I found in the Akaso Brave 7. Almost identical to a Hero 8 Black in fit, form, and function. Some users will notice the low-light recording, image stabilization, and microphone isn't as good as the Hero 8, and that might be an issue for your needs. But for me, for diving and snorkeling, I am thrilled to find a comparable action camera for half the price. Oh, and there is one thing the Akaso Brave 7 has on the GoPro Hero: the Akaso comes with TWO BATTERIES!

Great little camera for the price

Cute little camera that's easy to use. Had a little trouble figuring out how to connect it to WiFi, but after looking at some YouTube videos, I was able to get it to work. The video quality is pretty good if it's during the day, night time video gets a little pixelated. The package includes a handy dandy wrist remote that you can switch from video to still photos, I just wish I could use it to turn the camera on/off. The camera also includes 2 batteries and charger.

Totally worth the money .. I'd buy another one if and when I need a 2nd camera.

Why is there no sound when I record underwater?

Because in order to protect the camera, the camera does not record sound when it is in a waterproof case.

Will SD card come with camera purchase?

No, you need to buy an SD card separately.

Why didn't my camera record anything?

Before you use the camera, please format the microSD card first in this camera before using. To keep your microSD card in good condition, reformat it on a regular basis. Reformatting erases all your content, so please make sure to offload your photos and videos before reformatting. Note: FAT32 format microSD card stops recording when the file size reaches to 4GB, and starts to record again on a new file.

Does it support stereo mic?

Depends on your camera version, starting from 20211230-FXM-V2.1 of Brave7 LE. Query Camera Camera Version Open General Settings (gear icon) > System > System Information.

Does this camera float or sink in water?

This action camera sinks in water. You need to buy a floating hand grip for this camera.
