First action camera

This is my first action camera so don't have much to compare the Brave 7 against. The price was lower compared to other cameras which is the main reason I bought it. The battery life is short - if you record in 2.7k and keep the screen saver at 1 second you can make it through a morning fishing with a single battery. The camera frame is a less than robust design and broke the 3rd time out. Akaso replaced it free of charge but the new frame took 3 weeks to arrive from China. I also discovered that I didn't have the latest version of the camera when comparing the features on the website to the camera I had. I contacted Akaso about it and their reply was sorry for the inconvenience and nothing more. After several emails they finally offered either to replace the camera with the latest version if I paid the return postage or keep the camera and receive a 15% refund of the purchase price. I chose the refund. The camera does take good videos but the battery life and weak camera frame are drawbacks.
